Here's the long and short, a very good friend of mine from New Orleans lost all of the photographs of his father in Hurricane Katrina his father was an engineer for Crescent towing out of New Orleans I am looking for any photos of him or possibly some of the boats he worked on.
This is the information I have.
His name was Arthur Kimble he worked for Crescent towing for 30 years he died in 1974 at the age of 50 this puts him on the river in the late 40s 50s 60s his nickname was "sweet pepper" he worked on the Port Allen and the Port Arthur and possibly many other Crescent boats he was from the ninth Ward in New Orleans. Finding a picture of his father would be the greatest gift. Your time and help is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely Tim Harrison
